Mufti sb my name is saad age 35 and since last 12 years i have been facing from obsessive compulsive disorder and in my head some of the times i always trying to prove that god is one and Islam is right by giving proofs and signs and if i don’t satisfy my needs of proving Islam right i get so much uneasy feelings and at the same time i am facing from bipolar disorder in which if my wife hurts my ego i get rage and just think about divorce all the time but lacks courage to actually utter the words but at one time i divorced my wife 3 times out of rage (i already divorced her once before consumption of marriage and later married her again by doing tajdeed nikkah, so i had right of two divorces ) when drunk alcohol because she insulted me and then i realized that divorce of a drunk person doesn’t count but i didn’t tell that to any one and not to my wife and my family as well and then later i realized that i am not divorced but i didn’t informed anyone and after 3 months my wife again insulted me to which i give her written divorce by typing “anti taliq” , it was in my head that time i am already divorced not harm in giving her another divorce so that she can stop insulting me again , but now i am feeling extreme love for her and want her back and she said that when i give her written divorce to her she was in her menses and when i gave her three divorces she was again in menses. And also i did write her divorce by writing anti taliq 3 times in 3 separate occasions (one with intention to make her afraid but not actually divorcing her, i have read that written divorce without intention doesn’t take place) and one time i described above in the long letter and one time i can’t remember the intention because i was angry and just typed the message

I don’t think and do steps organizingly due to my sickness, i do things in compulsions

اَلجَوَابْ بِاسْمِ مُلْہِمِ الصَّوَابْ

According to sharia divorce rules, divorcing one’s wife three times entails terminating the marriage contract permanently. Since you have divorced three times in different occasion your marriage contract has been terminated permanently. So you cannot establish a new marriage contract without the wife getting married to someone else first, having a conjugal relationship with him, getting divorced and completing the waiting period in order for the divorce to be finalized. Only then you can marry your previous wife again.divorce in drunkenness have the same ruling as the divorce in usual.

م: (وطلاق السكران واقع) ش: وكذا يصح إعتاقه وخلعه، وبه قال الشافعي في المنصوص والأصح، وهو قول الثوري ومالك وأحمد في رواية وفي " المبسوط " المنصوص للشافعي جديدًا وقديمًا وقوع طلاق السكران، ونص في الظهار على قولين، فمنهم من نقل من الظهار قولًا إلى الطلاق، ومعظم العلماء صاروا إلى وقوع طلاق السكران. وفي " المغني ":

 وقال ابن حزم: أجاز مالك جميع تصرفاته الأربعة لقول أصحابنا وروى ابن وهب عنه أنه يجوز طلاقه دون نكاحه.
