 Question: I like to ask if car insurance allowed for new car in Pakistan under Islamic sharia. Please provide detail answer. ASAP

اَلجَوَابْ بِاسْمِ مُلْہِمِ الصَّوَابْ

This issue is related to Takaful which can be an alternate to conventional insurance. But the issue of Takaful is under consideration according to Darulifta jamia tur rasheed. So at Present no fatwa can be given for its justification or non-validity, however Takaful is permissible way of Islamic insurance according to darulifta Darul Uloom Karachi.

It should be clear that third party insurance (which is almost essential to use a car, and without third party insurance, the use of vehicles is illegal) is permissible due to legal compulsion. However in the situation where insurance is legally required, it is necessary to adopt Takaful system instead of conventional insurance.
