سوال

Can we trust and use Islamic trading apps like SAHM (from Saudi Arabia) that provide a list of halal companies under the supervision of Islamic scholars?

In principle, buying and selling shares is permissible if it is done under the supervision of a Shariah Board and according to Islamic principles. However, this is a Saudi app, and it is supervised by scholars there whom we do not know. We also do not know what Shariah principles and guidelines they follow to operate this app. Therefore, it is not possible for us to provide a definitive Shariah ruling in this matter. You are advised to consult the local Islamic scholars regarding this matter and act according to their guidance.
