سوال

I am seeking Islamic guidance regarding the divorce given by my husband. Kindly guide us in this matter:

1. First time:

Approximately one year ago, my husband, in anger, said just once: “I divorce you.”After that, we reconciled and resumed living together. There were no witnesses. The reconciliation was only between us.

2. Second time:

Yesterday, while discussing our child's admission, my husband said to me twice:“I divorce you, I divorce you.”

These words were spoken consecutively at the same time, and he was also angry at that moment.

My questions are:

1.Does this situation count as three complete divorces?

2.Is our marriage still valid, or has it ended?

3.If the divorce is valid, is it now forbidden (haram) for us to live together?

4.If the marriage is still intact, what is the correct method of reconciliation (rujoo)?

Since the words of explicit divorce(Talaq-e-Sareeh) were used for the first time, a revocable divorce took place. After a revocable divorce, it is not necessary to have a witness for the reconciliation (Rujoo). It is sufficient to simply say: I have returned, or a return is also established by establishing a sexual relationship. After that, the husband had the option of giving only two more divorces.

The second time when the above mentioned statement was repeated twice, two more divorces occurred as well. After that, the ruling is that the spouses can neither return(exercise rojoo) nor can they remarry from scratch. It is no longer permissible for the spouses to live together.
