(10) We purchased a Residential plot in Wapda Town Phase III on installments. in the name of my Mother (Nuzhat Jabeen) Wapda Town will give us possession in 2022. Till march 2016 I had paid Rs. 363,000/- and now I have paid Rs. 310,000/- till June 2017 (Each installment of Rs. 62,000/- quarterly, 5 installments were missing) So total payment made is Rs. 673,000/- till date
اَلجَوَابْ بِاسْمِ مُلْہِمِ الصَّوَابْ
If the plot is purchased for residential purpose then there is no zakat, but if the purpose is commercial use, then zakat will be on total current price of plot.
